The South Australian Government through the Mineral Resources Division is currently undertaking a comprehensive review of South Australia’s mining legislation to modernise the regulation of our State’s mineral resources industry.
The Review Team is now undertaking the legislative drafting phase and have arranged further regional 'drop-in' sessions (see schedule below) to talk with local people about the recommendations.
The Eyre Peninsula and Yorke Peninsula dates are based on conversations with the Grain Producers SA group and conversations with farmers at the Paskeville field days. People have requested that the Review Team visit before harvest - hopefully the dates given here will beat the harvest season.
More information about the review with status updates, submissions received, and recommendations can be found on the Leading practice Mining Acts review page on this website.
